About this course
A one-day course combining endodontic decision-making with supervised practice in a phantom-head training facility.
Programme
- Diagnosis, treatment indications and the long-term goals of root canal treatment.
- Access design and rubber dam isolation.
- File metallurgy and preparation using mechanised glide paths, continuous-taper instruments and reciprocating systems.
- Irrigation protocols and dressings between appointments.
- Continuous-wave obturation and techniques using bioceramic sealers.
- Practice on purpose-built typodonts with apex-locator functionality; delegates may also bring extracted teeth and their own file systems.
Attendance
Cohort 5 takes place on 20 November 2026, 09:00 to 17:00, in Newcastle upon Tyne. The full fee is GBP 600 including VAT. Successful completion is associated with 7 hours of verifiable CPD and development outcome C, as stated by the provider.
