A periodontal chart (or 6-point pocket chart, 6PPC) is a clinical record of gum health. For each tooth, the dentist or hygienist records six measurements: pocket depth at the mesio-buccal, mid-buccal, disto-buccal, mesio-lingual, mid-lingual, and disto-lingual sites - plus bleeding on probing, recession, mobility, furcation, and plaque scores. The full chart is the basis for diagnosing periodontitis stage and grade under the BSP / EFP 2017 classification.

How accurate is voice perio charting?
Recording quality, background noise and how clearly readings are spoken affect the result. Review the populated chart and correct any values before saving or exporting.
Do I need special equipment for voice perio charting?
No special equipment is required. Any standard microphone works, including your laptop mic, phone, or a USB headset. For busy surgeries, we recommend a directional microphone to reduce background noise.
How long does it take to complete a full 6PPC with voice charting?
Timing depends on the examination, dentition and corrections needed. Voice charting reduces manual data entry; it does not replace probing or clinical review. Try it in your own workflow during the 14-day trial.
