Diploma in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics

London Dental Institute combines online teaching, simulation-kit exercises, monthly study clubs and individual case support. The EduQual-endorsed Level 7 diploma requires three written examinations and a case presentation.

Six-unit syllabus

• Assessment: records, growth biology, research, photography and cephalometry.
• Planning: space analysis, materials, Class I treatment and fixed-appliance bonding.
• Appliances: removable/functional systems, simple and advanced aligners, finishing and retention.
• Advanced skills: TAD placement, CAD/CAM, printing, CBCT and Class II/III cases.
• Applied treatment: growing patients, adult periodontal/TMD considerations and biomechanics.
• Complex cases: space closure, open/deep bites, transverse problems, impactions, hypodontia and surgical coordination. Bonus teaching covers facial aesthetics and practice marketing.

Optional London attendance costs extra. Appropriate own-practice cases receive remote guidance.

Fees

£10,995 plus UK VAT (£13,194 at 20%). Alternatively, £99 plus twelve £908 payments before VAT gives the same base total. Check CPD hours with LDI.
