Overview

About this course

ALINERS combines theory, live ClinCheck demonstrations and completed case examples in this two-day programme. It covers the aligner journey from consultation and records through treatment planning, attachments, IPR, review appointments, finishing and retention.

Teaching explores the difference between a digital simulation and achievable tooth movement, including staging, anchorage and overcorrection. Ortho-restorative examples consider space and tooth position before bonding, crowns or implants.

Records and clinical workflow

Topics include scans and impressions, attachment-template preparation and fitting, IPR, refinement appointments, lost attachments or trays, poor fit, bonded retainers and post-fitting instructions.

Planning and complex cases

ClinCheck Pro teaching covers diagnostic tools, attachment design, anchorage, Bolton analysis, virtual C-chains and overcorrection. Case demonstrations address deep and open bites, arch development, crowding, Class II/III relationships, elastics, extraction cases and impacted canines. Finishing includes bite settling, debonding and retention.

Multidisciplinary planning considers space for implants and restorations, peg laterals, periodontal conditions, tooth positioning before soft-tissue surgery and creating restorative clearance.

Continuing learning

Graduates can discuss cases and ClinChecks in the invitation-only group and attend complimentary monthly webinars for questions, revision and case review. Specialist mentors teach the programme, including Damon and Ramtin Taheri and Ilias Marinopoulos.
