Advanced Diploma in Endodontics

The Dental Team Education Centre's EduQual Level 7 Advanced Diploma in Endodontics blends online teaching and case-based learning with ten face-to-face practical days. The 2026 intake is full. A 2027 waiting list is open, but dates, times and the next intake timetable are still being finalised.

Eight units

• Foundations: diagnosis, anatomy, pathology and treatment planning.
• Rotary instrumentation: shaping systems, protocols and workflow.
• Obturation and perforation management.
• Non-surgical retreatment and management of failed treatment.
• Restoration of endodontically treated teeth and preservation of tooth structure.
• Periradicular surgery, microsurgical principles and regenerative procedures.
• Vital pulp therapy, dental trauma and emergencies.
• The interface with prosthodontics, orthodontics and periodontics.

Study and assessment

The programme lists 18 online lecture and case-based sessions. Practical teaching is organised into two five-day phases: initial foundations, instrumentation, obturation and restoration, followed by advanced retreatment, complications and restorative work. Microscope-based learning, clinical mentorship and case discussion support the practical sessions.

Assessment includes written work, clinical evaluation, research and treatment analysis. Confirm the clinical case requirements, practical patient or simulation arrangements, attendance rules and overall completion timescale for the next intake.

Faculty and fees

Teaching is led by specialist endodontist Shalini Kanagasingam and Abhishek Parolia, whose experience includes postgraduate education, micro-endodontics, retreatment and regenerative procedures.

The displayed programme fee is £9,500 plus VAT, equivalent to £11,400 including 20% VAT. A 12-month plan is available by agreement; the page's monthly figure is approximate. Confirm the final schedule and fee when a 2027 place is offered. A total dental CPD allocation is not specified.
