Diploma in Oral Rehabilitation

Devang Patel’s EduQual Level 7 diploma combines preparatory video study, six practical teaching days and two years of mentoring. Cohorts are limited to nine dentists. Registration is by enquiry, with current intake dates and the practical venue to be confirmed.

Stage 1: more than 20 hours of video lectures and demonstrations

• Occlusal terminology and examination, Michigan splints, facebow records, Lucia jigs, leaf gauges and mounting in maximum intercuspation or centric relation.
• Rehabilitation planning, increased occlusal vertical dimension, the Dahl concept, adhesive approaches, patient communication, tooth morphology and diagnostic wax-ups.
• Bonding, direct anterior composites, crowns, veneers and other anterior indirect restorations.
• Posterior direct composites, onlays, crowns, indirect restorations and maintenance.

Stage 2: six practical days across three weekends

• Occlusal assessment, centric-relation records and mounting.
• Michigan-splint adjustment and diagnostic wax-ups.
• Direct anterior composite reconstruction.
• Indirect anterior reconstruction with crowns and veneers.
• Direct posterior composite reconstruction.
• Posterior adhesive onlays and crown preparation.

Stage 3 provides twice-monthly online case discussions and 24 months of private WhatsApp support. Delegates can discuss cases while developing their own clinical practice. The package also includes online photography, communication and adhesive-onlay courses and an archive of more than 50 hours of case discussions.

The advertised payment starts at £700 per month, but the number of payments and full tuition are not stated. Obtain a total-fee breakdown, VAT basis, assessment requirements and CPD allocation before enrolling. Video duration is not used as a CPD total.
