Freehand and Injectable Composite Veneers (LUMIWHITE Academy)

LUMIWHITE Academy's two-day course in Leeds combines freehand composite veneers with injectable techniques. Dr Khalil Karwani and Dr Andrew Elnazir teach both days, with practical exercises, clinical planning and guidance on finishing and maintaining restorations.

Day one: freehand composite veneers

Teaching runs from 9am to 5pm. The day follows smile planning and consultation through material selection, veneer build-up and aftercare.

• Smile design and effective patient consultations.
• The role of professional teeth whitening in treatment planning.
• Using GC G-ænial A'CHORD for freehand composite work.
• Shaping and polishing restorations.
• Maintenance, ongoing care and composite repairs.
• A practical freehand veneer build-up across the anterior teeth, from canine to canine (3–3).

Day two: injectable composite veneers

Teaching runs from 9am to 5pm, with extensive practical work using GC G-ænial Universal Injectable.

• Material characteristics and applications of GC G-ænial Universal Injectable.
• Creating composite veneers with an injectable workflow.
• Step-by-step practice of the injection technique.
• Communicating effectively with the laboratory.
• Recognising common difficulties and troubleshooting the workflow.

Your tutors

Khalil Karwani holds a postgraduate certificate in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry. Andrew Elnazir holds DMD and MFDS RCPSG qualifications and an MSc in Aesthetics from King's College London. Both teach the freehand and injectable sessions.
