SmileFast Direct

Before the course

Complete approximately four hours of online learning so that the attendance day can focus on practical exercises. Dental therapists are welcome; the booking guidance recommends support from a dentist working closely with them.

Attendance day

Registration begins at 08:30, teaching starts at 09:00 and the day finishes at 17:30. The morning introduces the concept, rationale, evidence and treatment planning before step-by-step shaping and polishing practice. Afternoon exercises involve placing a SmileFast Direct restoration in a lifelike scenario with individual mentoring.

Topics include anterior anatomy and surface texture, case communication, the stages of treatment, composite fracture and degradation, photography for consent and self-review, and evaluating clinical evidence. The practical description does not establish treatment of live patients.

Fees and booking

The fee is £575 plus VAT, equivalent to £690 including 20% VAT. The form displays £575 before its separate tax calculation. CPD hours and equipment requirements should be confirmed. A lunch break is scheduled, but catering inclusion is not stated clearly.
