Overview
About this course
Ash Parmar’s eight-day programme offers separate hands-on and observer places. Hands-on delegates prepare, review and fit an approved own-patient case involving approximately eight to ten upper Emax restorations. Observers follow the clinical work without treating a patient. The group also learns from several different live smile cases.
Clinical and practical programme
- Comprehensive assessment, smile analysis, clinical photography and digital smile design.
- Preparation, provisional trial smiles, ceramic selection, laboratory communication and cementation.
- Silicone impressions, centric-occlusion and centric-relation bite records, NTI deprogramming, Denar/Kois facebows, stick bites and mock-ups.
- Occlusion, joints and muscles, articulators, and management of wear cases with an increased vertical dimension.
- T-Scan, Trios scanning, soft-tissue Epic X and Waterlase systems, plus fibre/composite approaches.
- Case planning, patient interviews, treatment-coordinator workflows, communication role-play and practice development.
Equipment, instruments and materials are supplied for the clinical teaching. The 2027 programme runs on 18–19 June, 17–18 September, 12–13 November and 3–4 December at Smile Design by Ash in Chigwell. Both hands-on and observer places are advertised. It provides 64 CPD hours covering GDC outcomes A–D. Fees are not published on the page: obtain the correct delegate/observer rate and clarify patient, laboratory and other charges before reserving.
