Certificate in Aesthetic Dentistry

Tipton Training’s aesthetic programme develops clinical planning and practical skills for dentists with a foundation in occlusion and tooth preparation. Teaching combines seminars, supervised exercises, demonstrations and live online sessions.

Clinical programme

• Plan smiles using facial and tooth proportions, diagnostic waxing, laboratory communication and clinical photography.
• Study veneer preparation and practise conventional and slice preparations, isolation, adhesive cementation and ceramic indirect restorations.
• Consider occlusion, bleaching chemistry and safety, orthodontic assessment and aligner workflows in aesthetic treatment.
• Review gingival recession and aesthetic periodontal planning; learn facial-aesthetic principles and observe demonstrations.
• Use digital smile-design tools in practical exercises; develop composite layering, diastema closure and contouring techniques.
• Plan aesthetic rehabilitation of worn teeth and improve consultation, case-presentation and practice communication.

The programme provides 72 enhanced CPD hours. For the EduQual Level 7 certificate, assessment includes practical feedback, two reflective write-ups, a case presentation and a final-day multiple-choice examination. A non-Level 7 attendance route is also available.

April 2027 starts are advertised in London, Manchester and Glasgow. Confirm individual teaching dates and venue. The Level 7 fee totals £10,475 including VAT and £525 registration; the non-Level 7 route totals £9,975 on the same basis. Learning is supported by tutor mentoring and an online library of papers, webinars, tutorials and case discussions. Support outside scheduled teaching sessions is available for clinical questions.
