Professional Certificate in Clear Aligner Therapy and Digital Dentistry

Aligner Dental Academy combines self-paced modules, monthly webinars and mentoring in this six-month Professional Certificate. It offers 50+ CPD hours and EduQual Level 7 certification on completion. A face-to-face teaching day in London is included alongside six months of course and forum access.

Five curriculum domains

• Orthodontic foundations: occlusion, tooth-movement biomechanics, clinical photography, radiographic assessment, impressions, scanning and SAFE assessment.
• Communication and ethics: consultation, informed consent and responsible marketing.
• Patient care: Invisalign Go and Comprehensive submissions, clinical preferences, five-step ClinCheck review, 3D controls and technician communication. Continue through multidisciplinary planning, IPR, attachments, monitoring, additional aligners and retention.
• Critical thinking: analyse crowding, spacing, Class II and III cases, deep and open bites, and tracking problems.
• Digital integration: practice scanning workflows, Smile Architect and the links between orthodontic and restorative planning.

Support and participation

The brochure includes monthly individual mentoring calls, three mentored case-planning sessions, monthly case-discussion webinars and forum support. The course is open to clinicians certified in a clear-aligner product, without a minimum number of previously completed cases. Delegates must start two cases during the programme. Much of the software teaching focuses on Invisalign Go and Comprehensive.

Fees and intake

The fee is £4,000 plus VAT (£4,800 total). Instalments are offered; confirm the schedule and total when enrolling.
