Bone Grafting Masterclass: Contemporary Approaches

Hassan Maghaireh’s Bone Grafting Masterclass is advertised for 22–23 January 2027 at BAIRD Academy, Global Avenue, Leeds LS11 8PR, with 14 CPD hours.

Day 1: foundations and immediate placement

Review the evidence and principles of guided bone regeneration, including membrane stabilisation. Compare flapless and flapped immediate placement and the NovaMag shield technique. Pig-head workshops cover implant placement, membrane stabilisation, layering, extraction, connective-tissue grafting and bone grafting.

Day 2: staged approaches and complications

Compare simultaneous and staged augmentation, block and sausage techniques, CAD/CAM blocks and NovaMag plates. Discuss flap design, soft-tissue management and horizontal and vertical augmentation complications.

Further pig-head exercises cover periosteal pockets, implant placement, Jason membranes, Cerabone Plus, NovaMag plates and soft-tissue closure. The advertised programme runs from registration at 08:30 to approximately 17:30 on day one and 17:00 on day two. Bring dental loupes if available.
