Clinical Occlusion and TMD Online (Dominic Hassall)

Dominic Hassall's online programme examines occlusal assessment and treatment planning through recorded teaching, clinical demonstrations and supporting reading. Topics include tooth wear, splints, articulators and TMD assessment. The programme offers 22 CPD hours and costs GBP 995 plus VAT. There is no fixed attendance date.

Clinical syllabus

Teaching covers risk-based occlusal and TMD examination, diagnosis, articulator selection, facebow records and competing occlusal philosophies. Further topics include centric relation, increasing vertical dimension, splints and deprogrammers, orthodontic correction, localised or generalised tooth wear, equilibration, diagnostic wax-ups and occlusion for implants and bridges.

Demonstrations and study format

More than three hours of practical videos show examinations, splint fitting, facebow recording, articulator use, bimanual manipulation, centric-relation registration, model mounting and alginate impressions. Modules combine fundamentals with clinical cases and supporting literature, followed by a final examination. Assessment forms used in Dominic Hassall’s practice are supplied for reference.

Video study is self-paced and can be replayed. The published three-day duration describes the equivalent learning volume, rather than three fixed attendance dates.
