Start, Scale and Exit: Dental Business Coaching Programme

Start, Scale and Exit is a 12-month business coaching programme for dental practice owners and associates preparing for ownership. Admission is by application. The fee is £12,000 plus VAT, equivalent to £14,400 including 20% VAT.

• 19 February, Prav Solanki: leadership vision, business strategy and personal and professional goals.
• 12 March, Prav Solanki: emotional intelligence, self-awareness, listening, trust and communication with patients and teams.
• 16 April, Prav Solanki: marketing, digital channels, patient reviews, growth and retention.
• 14 May, Nigel Risner: leadership styles, communication and their impact on a team.
• 11 June, Kunal Patel and Victoria Warren: recruitment, onboarding, retention, accountability, mentoring and coaching.
• 10 September, Dev Patel: budgeting, cash flow, profitability, performance indicators and cost control.
• 11 September, Dev Patel: acquisitions, new practices, investment and preparing a business for exit.
• 1 October, Louise Hatton and Rachel Potter: technology, scheduling, patient flow, operational systems and compliance.
• 12 November, Payman Sobhani: patient experience, ethical decisions, trust and challenging situations.

Application and ongoing support

Delegates join a WhatsApp group with direct access to instructors for discussion and advice between sessions. The programme is aimed at owners seeking growth, expansion, an associate-led model or eventual sale, as well as associates considering their first practice.
