About this course
Pav Khaira offers individual implant mentoring through the Academy of Implant Excellence. Training is tailored to the dentist's experience and cases, from initial single-implant treatment to full-arch rehabilitation and grafting.
Clinical work and support
Mentoring involves planning and treating agreed cases together, with direct supervision and feedback. A visit to your own practice allows work with your patients, equipment and team. The programme also addresses ethical patient communication and presenting implant treatment options.
Dentists who need occasional advice can discuss flexible support rather than a fixed programme. Online mentoring is available for suitable candidates. The separate academy online curriculum can also be combined with supervision from a local mentor.
Options and costs
A full day of mentored treatment at the delegate's clinic is advertised at £6,000. VAT treatment, case-related costs and travel arrangements are not specified. Other bespoke arrangements require a quotation.
Another option is to bring an agreed patient to Pav's clinic: mentoring is offered without a separate mentoring charge when the patient pays the clinic's treatment fee. This does not make patient treatment free. Confirm suitability, consent, clinical responsibilities, fees and the exact supervision arrangement in advance.
Dates are arranged individually. CPD hours and any certificate conditions need confirmation.
