Overview
About this course
CADE’s implant year course combines classroom and model-based work with supervised treatment of delegates’ own patients. Choose one teaching site, Hale or Ely; both cohorts attend a shared Manchester CBCT masterclass. The programme leads to an EduQual SCQF Level 11 Diploma in Implant Dentistry, with a Level 7 certificate exit award, subject to assessment.
Clinical learning
- Implant science, assessment, treatment planning and surgical fundamentals.
- Hands-on surgical techniques and guided bone regeneration.
- Restoration of single implants, overdentures and full-arch cases, including immediate loading.
- At least six supervised implant placements on your own patients, planned and approved by faculty. Competence and clinical judgement determine progression.
- A two-day CBCT Levels I and II masterclass with Dr Lee Feinberg, covering radiation protection, acquisition, anatomy/pathology, reporting and guided planning.
Faculty includes Dr Richard Brookshaw, Dr Lau Berraondo, Dr Harpreet Mandair and Dr Lee Feinberg. Groups have 10–12 delegates per site. Nobel Biocare implants/components and DTx Studio planning software are used, with laboratory costs, assessment and EduQual registration included. The programme describes approximately 72 verifiable CPD hours.
The full fee is £11,635 plus VAT, £13,962 including VAT. A £1,750 plus VAT deposit is part of the total, followed by ten £988.50 plus VAT instalments. An Ely early-booking rate of £11,135 plus VAT applies to reservations by 31 October 2026; confirm its application before paying. Patients pay their own reduced clinical treatment fees directly.
The Hale cohort began on 2 October 2026. The next advertised Ely cohort begins with CBCT teaching in Manchester on 11–12 December 2026, followed by Ely sessions through December 2027. The published dates are provisional; obtain confirmation before arranging travel.
