4-day Certificate in Clear Aligners

Tipton Training combines aligner treatment planning with practical digital design and laboratory workflows for general dental practitioners. The course carries 24 enhanced CPD hours.

Programme

• Assess case suitability and contraindications, compare aligners with fixed appliances, and consider TMJ health, occlusion and anterior guidance alongside restorative planning.
• Examine tooth-movement biomechanics, attachment design, staging and limits to predictability.
• Practise software-based case design, scan refinement and the use of auxiliaries for different malocclusions.
• Explore in-house manufacture through 3D printing, material choice, thermoforming, trimming and polishing.
• Review attachment placement, interproximal reduction, refinements, finishing, retention, troubleshooting and final occlusal adjustment.
