  • Endodontic access, canal shaping and restoration of treated teeth; post selection, ferrule and core design.
  • Preparations for metal-ceramic, zirconia and lithium-disilicate crowns; porcelain veneers and conservative adhesive restorations.
  • Articulator mounting, digital workflows, splint design and adjustment, joint loading and guidance.
  • Smile analysis, anterior composite techniques and bonding protocols.
  • Denture impressions, jaw relationships and functional design; periodontal screening and treatment sequencing.
  • Bridge materials and biomechanics; diagnostic wax-ups and sequencing complex restorative cases.

Aesthetic dentistry

  • Plan smiles using facial and tooth proportions, diagnostic waxing, laboratory communication and clinical photography.
  • Study veneer preparation and practise conventional and slice preparations, isolation, adhesive cementation and ceramic indirect restorations.
  • Consider occlusion, bleaching chemistry and safety, orthodontic assessment and aligner workflows in aesthetic treatment.
  • Review gingival recession and aesthetic periodontal planning; learn facial-aesthetic principles and observe demonstrations.
  • Use digital smile-design tools in practical exercises; develop composite layering, diastema closure and contouring techniques.
  • Plan aesthetic rehabilitation of worn teeth and improve consultation, case-presentation and practice communication.

Practical training uses models and phantom heads; the course description does not promise delegates live-patient treatment. Assessment includes practical feedback, reflective work, treatment-planning tasks and examinations. Successful completion leads to the diploma and its constituent Level 7 certificates.
