Overview

About this course

The British Dental Institute offers a ten-day programme for general dentists beginning implant treatment. Four modules progress from assessment and planning to simulated surgery and supervised patient treatment. Previous surgical experience is not required.

Modules 1–3 in the UK

  • Implant principles, patient assessment, case selection, equipment and practice setup.
  • Radiographic and prosthetically driven planning, impressions, restoration protocols and complication prevention.
  • Flap design, osteotomy preparation and suturing on models and simulated cases, with individual mentoring.

Module 4 in Rabat

The final module takes place in Morocco and advertises 5–10 implant placements under one-to-one clinical supervision. Delegates may bring suitable cases into the planning process. Confirm local clinical registration, patient arrangements and the actual cases available before enrolling.

Faculty and follow-up

Ahmed Al-Morhiby directs the course, supported by Yaman Walid, oral and maxillofacial surgeon Tamer Theodossy and Yahya Al-Jalal. The faculty remains available for case discussion after the final module.

Fees and logistics

A 10% deposit reserves a place. Four instalments are offered without an additional charge, and full advance payment attracts a 5% discount. The website does not publish the total tuition fee or VAT basis. Confirm the payment deadlines, current dates, CPD and exact UK venues.
