Overview
About this course
Led by Adam Nulty and Chris Lefkaditis, this IDDA programme builds digital skills on top of existing implant training. A prior qualification covering conventional implant theory is required.
Six-module curriculum
- Digital implant principles: single, multiple and full-arch planning, minimally invasive approaches, proportions and digital occlusion.
- Mock-ups and temporaries: clinical photography, Exocad design, printed temporary restorations and consent.
- CBCT and guided surgery: software choice, Exoplan planning, anatomical constraints, guide design and printing.
- CAD/CAM implant restorations in Cerec/Inlab and Exocad, including transfer of a mock-up.
- Manufacture and materials: printed and milled options, custom abutments, Ti-bases, laboratory communication and finishing.
- Full-arch workflows: guided planning, surgical/restorative stages, soft tissues, aftercare and clinical documentation.
Study is flexible, with an intended completion period of 18 months to three years. Online videos, readings, clinical examples, quizzes and written assignments support learning. The qualification requires completion of the programme’s learning and assessment requirements. The IDDA app supports offline video access, and a learning community provides continuing discussion and guidance.
The published equipment requirements include an intraoral scanner, a laptop with at least 32 GB RAM and GeForce 3070-class graphics or better, a 3D printer and Exocad. Desktop Health or Ackuretta printers are suggested. Confirm which licences, equipment and any practical attendance costs are included before enrolling.
The upfront fee for online content is £7,995, or 36 payments of £235 (£8,460 total). The programme also refers to practical activities: confirm their venue, timetable, inclusion in the fee and VAT basis before committing.
The page specifies 120 AGD PACE continuing-education credits and states that enhanced CPD is awarded for completed modules and topics. Confirm the UK enhanced-CPD total and certificate requirements.
