Remakes and next stages

Send a case back for its next stage, a remake or an adjustment, with a reason. One case keeps its whole history.

How it works

Add it, follow it, fit it.

  1. Add a case with the patient reference, work type and lab, or start it from your approved AI note.

  2. Mark the teeth on the chart and check the expected back date.

  3. Move the case along as it goes to the lab, comes back and is completed.

  4. Completed cases move to History after seven days, so your board stays clear.

How is it different from the Practice Hub lab tracker?

The Personal Lab Tracker is for your own cases in Dentist Zone. Practice Hub adds a shared tracker so the whole team can add and update cases.

Can I add a case from my notes?

Yes. For treatments that go to the lab, approve the note and choose Add to Lab Tracker. The case opens with the details filled in.

How are expected back dates set?

Save each lab’s usual turnaround and the expected back date fills itself in. You can also pick 1 week, 10 days or 2 weeks.

Can I track dentures through their stages?

Yes. Record the arch, type and stage, and send the case back to the lab for its next stage with the earlier dates kept.

Does it contact the lab?

No. The tracker records where your case is. It does not send anything to the lab.
