Overview

About This Course

LUX8 – The Extraction Course is an immersive two-day oral surgery masterclass designed for general dentists looking to develop greater confidence, predictability and precision in routine and surgical extractions.

Led by specialist oral surgeon Dr Yusuf Gadiwalla, the course combines evidence-based principles with practical, immediately applicable surgical techniques.

Delegates will explore the physics of instrumentation, radiographic interpretation, surgical planning, atraumatic extraction techniques, tooth-specific approaches, flap design, tooth sectioning, bone removal, suturing and the prevention and management of complications. The course also introduces the principles of managing straightforward impacted wisdom teeth.

With small-group teaching, extensive hands-on practical surgery using pig's heads and 14 hours of verifiable CPD, LUX8 is designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and confident clinical practice.

Whether you are looking to improve your everyday extractions or take your surgical skills to the next level, LUX8 provides a structured, practical approach that you can implement immediately in practice.
