Equipment Register

Equipment Register keeps every piece of equipment in your dental practice in one place, with its service dates and its certificates. The register is sorted by what's due next, so anything overdue sits right at the top. Needs attention shows what's overdue or due soon, with a button to record the visit straight away.

To add an asset, start from a common one, like an autoclave, and the category and type fill themselves in. Add the room, then the model and serial number from the rating plate. Then give it a service schedule: what needs doing, how often, and who does it.

Enter when it was last done, and the next due date works itself out. When the engineer has been, record the visit: the date, who did it, and the result. Attach the certificate, and the next due date is set a year on from the visit.

Certificates sit on the visit they belong to, in the asset's history. And a record is never deleted: it's corrected or voided, with a reason. Out of service? It keeps its deadlines. And if a service should wait, you pause it, with a reason. Thirty days before it's due, or whenever you choose, owners and admins get a reminder, in the app and by email.
