About this course
Professors Cemal Ucer and Simon Wright lead this ICE programme for experienced implant dentists treating fully edentulous or severely atrophic arches. It covers both surgical and prosthodontic planning, with approximately 44 CPD hours across the core programme.
Learning sequence
- Preparatory webinars are advertised from October 2026.
- 26 February 2027: face-to-face teaching and live surgical/restorative demonstrations of implant placement and same-day loading.
- 27 February 2027: practical skills workshops.
- Optional additional-cost clinical mentoring may follow, including an individually arranged full-arch case in the delegate’s practice. The brochure also describes a free case-observation opportunity at ICE; confirm its arrangements.
Topics
- Full-arch fixed, removable and hybrid treatment choices, with surgical strategies for atrophic jaws.
- CBCT interpretation, digital assessment, R2Gate guide design and guided full-arch workflows.
- Short, tilted, pterygoid, trans-sinus, nasal-rim and zygomatic implant concepts.
- Immediate placement, socket management, provisionalisation and same-day loading.
- Denture impressions, bite records, articulation, try-ins, copy dentures, laboratory communication and abutment-location guides.
- Soft-tissue management, grafting, vestibuloplasty, peri-implant maintenance, consent and human factors.
